Westoes were forbidden to enter SC
In 1677, following two murders by the Westo, they were forbidden to enter the settlement beyond the trading-plantations on the border: St. Giles', Walley's plantation, and Sewee. This order was renewed in 1680. [Note: July 14, 1677; April 12, 1680.]
