SC council restricted Moore from Indian trade
In April, 1692, Moore was forbidden by the council to leave the settlement to trade with any remote Indians except by permission of governor and council, and ordered to deliver all papers relating to Mathews's English journey.76 [Note 76: Journal of the Grand Council of South Carolina (hereinafter cited as ICC), April 14, 1692; see also entry of May 28, 1692.]
