A captive of the Daufuskie fight told SC Yamasee returned to Guale
From a captive taken in one of these small affrays, 'the Dawfusky fight,' [Daufuskie, 1715] it was learned that part of the Yamasee had returned to Guale, which they had deserted thirty years before for the 'Indian Land.'
