A broken cannon killed some of Zuniga's men in the Castillo
Zuniga and his Floridians remained firmly entrenched in the fort. Their only casualties resulted from the shattering of a 16-pound cannon (on November 20) and from losses to patrols sent out to harass Moore’s men. For all of its battering, the English cannon had not caused a single casualty. [Note 11: Consejo 5/22/1703]
