Menendez built and commanded an Armada in the Caribbea
With most of the rest of the clan they also served in the new Indies Fleet (Armada Real de la Guardia de las Costas e Isles y Carrera de las Indias) that Pedro Menendez built in 1568, brought to the Caribbean, and commanded until 1573.
