Lower Creek Indians returned to SA for more regaling
In July, 1717, less than three months after their April sojourn at the presidio, Tsipacaya, Chiscalichisle, and Adrian again re-entered Saint Augustine seeking aid from Governor Ayala. Once gain he welcomed the Indians with cannon salutes, drinking, feasting, and dancing, which followed the usual manifestations of good will. Ayala also awarded the three chiefs a few muskets and powder, which sent them away contented. [Interim gov to king 11/19/1717]
