One of my favorite decor tricks is the 70/30 rule.

Think of it like this: let 70% of a room lean into a dominant color or style, and use the other 30% for accents — whether that’s bold textures, patterns, or contrasting tones. It’s a simple way to create balance while still showing personality.

Art fits perfectly into that 30%. A single artwork can be the accent that ties everything together and makes a space feel intentional.
