When I got dumped for the second time in marriage, I crumbled mentally, emotionally, socially. I lost a lot of friends. Being needy is not best way to keep a friend. 

What's with all those songs about lean on me and I'll be your friend? God forbid a person should need help.

But that very destitution drove me to the arms of God. I now live with God. It is infinitely better than any social life I could ever achieve on this planet.

I do still have somewhat of my social life. I've learned that humans can't be my strength. They can't be counted on for that matter. I can't be counted on by anyone else. 

Only the father can be counted on.
