Moral requested legal assistanceedit

Eight years later Governor Moral requested an auditor for his colony. He pointed out that he had followed the practice of sending all legal documents to Cuba for review by judicial experts there, but long delays had occurred before Cuban lawyers had acted. With an auditor he could draw up the cases more speedily himself. A year later, having received no reply to his first plea, he repeated the same request with the same result.
