Gov Moral complained that Buenaventura needed more moneyedit

For a short time Buenaventura maintained friendly relations with Governor Moral. Moral gave the auxiliary a warm welcome and initially pressed his superiors in Spain to send out the six assistants allotted to the bishop. The governor also complained that Buenaventura lacked sufficient funds to maintain himself in the style befitting of his office. [Note 42: gov to king 8/27/1735] In fact during the summer of 1735 it seems as if gubernatorial cooperation with the bishop, preached so strongly by the Council of the Indies in 1727, had become a reality.
