Gov. Bull said the Spaniards wrought great damage in SC
When Governor William Bull wrote from Charleston in October, 1741, that the Spaniards wrought “great damage” in his colony, he was reflecting the feeling of many English colonies in the Southeast who were now suffering at the hands of Spanish privateers.
