On the De Crenay map of 1733 two Okfuskee towns appear—one, "Oefasquets," between the Coosa and Tallapoosa Rivers well down toward the point where they come together; the other, "Les grands Oefasqu6," a considerable distance up the Tallapoosa.3 (Swanton)
