In season 1, episode 4 of The Crown, "Act of God", Queen Mary tells Queen Elizabeth that her purpose as royalty is ordained by God to provide a role model for common people to aspire to. That's exactly why I signed up for Netflix just to watch this series. Just to learn how to assume a dignified role among people skewing the truth all around me. It's working. I'm thankful.

I'm excited to be this strong, dignified person with Chelsea, and Josh, and Candace. I always felt like I needed to associate with and empathize with less fortunate people, and equalize myself with them, but they are gaining nothing from me by me lowering myself to their level. I will rise up and I will be gracious and generous with my blessings. No longer will I feel guilty about them.
