It is held in Moodle to give you a feel for what it is like to navigate through a course. This orientation is designed to help you become acquainted with the university and what it is like to study with us so that you are ready to learn in your next courses. Each unit will cover an important topic related to your student journey. University of the People, our mission values and global outreach. Using Moodle, technology requirements, classroom navigation, our courses, format of classes, learning resources and assignment types, as well as career exploration, programs of study and career resources. At the end of each unit is a very small assignment designed to reinforce the content that you learned. In order to complete the orientation, you must successfully complete each assignment. You have as many attempts as you need to complete those assignments. Note that this orientation has four short units in total and should only take an average of two to three hours to complete.
