It would seem from my silence that you are an afterthought in my mind. Far from it. For me, this entire thing went down with God personally tending Chelsea and every person who prayed. He used you to lay the foundation for a miracle. To me, you are a mystical angel. I guess I wanted to keep you that way in my heart until... well... until I presented you with the book. While we were at the hospital, you were known among the family and hospital staff as a mysterious hero. By the end of the week, a book had brewed in my head to give credit to all the people who gave their best even in a hopeless situation. I compiled a play-by-play from text messages, Facebook posts, etc. My vision of the book was just like our experience at the hospital. You were still a mystery to us. In my plan, the story will be told by the various key players each writing their own chapter, with you remaining the mystery you were in our experience. Then I will present the manuscript to you, inviting you to add your own chapter, then Chelsea can add the final chapter herself. I expected to say thank you with that manuscript and invitation to add your chapter. But now I realize that is entirely too long to leave you thinking I'm not eternally grateful for you. It's a fact, I am eternally grateful for you. I hope to meet you soon and adopt you into our family. But for now, let me knock this book out so I can show you my gratitude, and finally add my piece to your growing pile of praise. I know that God used me as a vehicle and I’m so happy to know that this experience is continuing to blossom the inspiration and life transformation that is needed in ALL of our lives. I am truly humbled and blessed to have been selected by the Creator for such a miraculous experience. Many people have been touting me as a hero but in actuality, I am just a vehicle and servant for a higher and greater good. And I give thanks for that. I look forward to reading your Divinely-inspired book and for gaining greater perspective in the full breathe of the story. There were many Divinely-aligned occurrences on my end that allowed me to be on that flight that day. I was scheduled to take a direct flight to San Diego but received the inspiration to stop in LA to visit my childhood friend of over 32 years and instead of taking a direct flight from New York, I chose to connect through Detroit. Chelsea said you and your wife like to visit Jax Beach. My condo is right on the border of Jax Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach. It's not ocean front, but it's close and it's comfy.
