Invitation to Oktoberfest

Dear South Ponte Vedra Association member: It's been a great beginning! We have accomplished much in this short time and we have much to be thankful for. Our young association boasts 80 families and it is becoming a strong voice in St. John's County. Because of our untiring efforts the sheriff has a budget for the new fiscal year which will bring us 24-hour police protection as well as a beach patrol. October heralds the Fall season and the period of Thanksgiving. It also seems like a good time to get together once more and talk about the future. Therefore we are planning an Oktoberfest The date: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28,1972 at 4 P.M. The place: 2625 South Ponte Vedra Boulevard (0.5 miles North of the store. Admission: 2 persons per membership free We welcome additional family members and guests at $2.50 per person. RSVP on the enclosed card before Friday, October 20 We will prepare everything with the same enthusiasm as the last time. You just bring a smile and -- OKTOBERFEST SPIRIT *If all goes well one of our members will bring the bratwurst by plane from a German specialty store in New York. It should be quite a treat .
