Coweta chief reported many Chichimecos came to live there
At any rate Fray Francisco Gutierrez de Vera states, in a letter dated May 19, 1681, largely concerned with the Chatot mission, that the Coweta chief had arrived and reported that "many Chuchumccas" had come to live at his town.4
