Moore's fleet entered SA harboredit

The next day [Nov 11] Moore, who had forced entrance into Saint Augustine harbor with three brigantines and five sloops, joined Daniel. AN283 [Note 9: There is a conflict in the English and Spanish documents as to the exact date the English vessels entered Saint Augustine harbor and as to the time the Carolinians debarked. English documents state the fleet reached the bar of Saint Augustine on October 21 and entered the harbor on October 27, when Moore’s men disembarked near the Florida capital. The Spanish documents state the Moore’s fleet crossed the bar on November 11. Even with the 11-day discrepancy between the Julian and Gregorian calendars, the two dates cannot be reconciled.] (Tepaske GSF)
