There were 131 Eufaula men among the Creeksedit

In 1738 there were reported 131 Eufaula men among both Upper and Lower Creeks;1 in 1750, 25+ ;2 and in 1760, 160." In 1761 they had 125 hunters,12 and in 1792 Marbury estimates 80 men in the two towns among the Upper Creeks but does not include the one upon the Chattahoochee (pp. 436-437). Hawkins gives 70 gunmen in Upper Eufaula,13 but ventures no estimate of the other Eufaula settlements. Young (1822) gives 670 Lower Eufaula Indians.14 In 1832 there were 1,440 Eufaula Indians of the upper and lower towns with 21 slaves.15 (Swanton)
